3 quick tips for planning a trip

Planning for a trip can sometimes appear to be a daunting task. Remembering what to pack because of the weather, making sure you take your favorite pair of shoes, only to realize that ALL your shoes look good 😃. Not to mention a lot of people have to juggle work, kids and other responsibilities, all of this while planning.

As a result here are 3 quick tips when it comes to planning for  trips.

Tip 1

Don’t stress, it’s just a trip, vacation or R&R and you should treat it as such. Unless you’re planning to go cave diving or trekking in the mountains allow yourself to relax. Clear your mind of the menial tasks that could sometimes leave you mentally tired , resulting in fatigue.

Tip 2

Maximize your time before the trip. Start packing early. If you know you’re a last minute person, here’s the perfect time for you to work on that area of opportunity. Think about how many days you will be away and pull out what you plan to wear and just put it in a bag. You don’t necessarily have to fill it up and seal it, but at least pull the bag out, clean it out and start the process early.

Tip 3

Coordinate activities ahead of time. Sometimes it’s good to wait until you’re on the ground to decide things you’d like to do, but if you only have a short amount of time then coordinating before the trip will do you some good.

So you see, it doesn’t take much when planning for a trip, even if it’s a quick weekend getaway or a month long excursion, execute these 3 simple tips and you’re well on your way to having a relaxing and memorable trip.
