About this trip
We had so much fun on the Pharaohs Tour that we are bringing it back for another year. Join us on one of our most exciting trips to date. Cairo is chaos at its most magnificent, infuriating and beautiful. Cairo, Egypt’s sprawling capital, is set on the Nile River. At its heart is Tahrir Square and the vast Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities including royal mummies and gilded King Tutankhamun artifacts. Nearby, Giza is the site of the iconic pyramids and Great Sphinx, dating to the 26th century BC. In Gezira Island’s leafy Zamalek district, 187m Cairo Tower affords panoramic city views. If you love Cairo, it will definitely love you back.Â
On the northern end of the First Cataract, marking ancient Egypt’s southern frontier, Aswan has always been of great strategic importance. In ancient times it was a garrison town for the military campaigns against Nubia; its quarries provided the granite used for so many sculptures and obelisks.

Full payment or Final payment for this trip will need to be completed on or before Sept 1st 2024. Your final payment is NON-REFUNDABLE upon it’s due date of Sept 1st 2024. If you cancel your trip at any time after the 1st payment has been made you will need to file a claim with your insurance provider to reclaim any funds paid towards your trip.
If for any reason THETRAVELJUNKEES are not able to visit our desired destination this trip will be postponed to a later date and time. If you cannot make the dates for the rescheduled trip, you will have the option to go at your leisure on your own. In some cases, we may be able to (depending on the dates) rollover monies paid to a TTJ tour for the future. In the event you opt out of either option you will be responsible for filing a claim with your insurance provider to recoup any monies paid.Â
