Wondering Where You Should Stay in Amsterdam?

When visiting Amsterdam, one of the biggest quandaries is deciding where to stay. With so many choices of hotels, Airbnbs and hostels, just picking a hotel can seem like a daunting task.
Nowadays, we all desire to be centrally located to everything.  We would like shopping, restaurants and other activities close by, preferably within walking distance.  Where would that be in Amsterdam, you ask?
Introducing the Rembrandtplein Square!  It is, of course, named after the famous Dutch painter, Rembrandt van Rijn.  Well known in Amsterdam as one of the busiest squares in the city, it is especially recognized for nightlife and clubbing.
There are several hotels, NH Schiller Hotel

and Hotel Atlanta

to name a few, plus countless restaurants and clubs.
Directly in the center of it all, there is a large statue of Rembrandt himself gazing down at the late night partygoers.
Another neat place to check out is the modern cinema that’s housed in a building that dates back to 1921. It boasts the largest interactive video screen in Europe and those milling about can sync their Bluetooth mobile phones to it. Nonetheless, the largest attraction for Rembrandt Square is clearly the club scene and bars.
The best way to get the Rembrandt Square is from Centraal Station, then the number 9 tram which will deposit you right into the neighborhood. The cost from the station usually runs around 4 to 5 euro for a single fare.

For your very first trip, or your next trip to Amsterdam check out Rembrandt Square as a place to stay.  Outside of visiting the countryside on a tour, you really won’t have a reason to leave the city center.  Everything you need is right there!
