The Greek Isles Tour – Greece May 2024

THETRAVELJUNKEES would like the welcome you to Greece tour.

Greece

Ancient sun-bleached ruins pierce blue skies as the Aegean laps at the endless coastline. And Greek culture is alive with passionate music, inspired cuisine and thrill-seeking activities.

Standing in the shadow of the Acropolis feels other-worldly. Greece is full of such moments. Step into the ring where Olympians first competed.

Santorini

High above, the main villages of Fira and Oia are a snow-drift of white Cycladic houses that line the cliff tops and spill like icy cornices down the terraced rock. And then there are the sunsets, with crowds breaking into applause as the sun disappears below the horizon.

Heraklion

Heraklion is a vibrant city located on the northern coast of the Greek island of Crete. It is the largest city on the island and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece. The city is steeped in history, with a rich cultural heritage and numerous ancient landmarks that are sure to fascinate any visitor.

Return of The Safari Collection Tour – Kenya and Tanzania June 2024

Kenya

East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city, Nairobi is Kenya’s beating heart, an exciting, frenetic concrete jungle that counterpoints the untrammelled natural beauty to be found elsewhere in the country.

And, believe it or not, the city has its own wildlife attractions, with a fabulous national park on its doorstep and several reserves dedicated to the wellbeing of elephants, giraffes, rhinos and more.

Tanzania – Zanzibar

Step off the boat or plane onto the Zanzibar Archipelago and you’re transported through time and place. This is one of the world’s great cultural crossroads, where Africa meets Arabia meets the Indian Ocean.

In Zanzibar Town, the narrow alleys of historic Stone Town meander between ancient buildings decorated with balconies and gigantic carved doors. Meanwhile, on the coast, fishing boats set sail, and in the countryside farmers tend fields of rice or the clove plantations that give Zanzibar its ‘Spice Islands’ moniker.
